![]() ![]() ![]() Generally speaking when you're considering GPUs for DAZ the things you need to care about are the amount of VRAM and the number of CUDA cores. It's not really relevant to single frame renders like we do in DAZ, and you won't notice any difference at all between DLSS 2 vs 3 when rendering. Can also be used to upscale textures, allowing you to turn down your graphics settings and resolution, gaining the benefit of running on lower settings but still look like you're running on the higher settings. ![]() Do your cards render fine in Blender Cycles? You may need to go in to the settings and enable all the NVidia features (Optix or whatever they're calling it these days).DLSS is a deep learning algorithm used to improve gaming performance/visuals by analysing the previous frames and how stuff is moving to predict where stuff is going to be and generating additional frames. I think the viewer that comes with the Iray SDK is also licensed. May help if you could test other Iray products (like Character Creator or Reallusion's standalone Iray viewer) to see if the problem is with DAZ or NVidia/Iray, but I don't know of any free ones. But you've already checked that so I dunno. Kinda why I got the FE in the first place. I recall there were people who had to back off on their OC to get Iray working in the releases thread, even if the OC was otherwise stable in gaming and benchmarks. ![]() unless NVidia has actually started introducing differences in drivers? The aftermarkets are supposed to be the same chipset as the FE with only the power delivery, clock boosts, packaging and cooling being different (supposidely superior). I'm not helping, but it's still odd that it doesn't work. ![]()
